Went down to The Zone's Youth Day Carnival today. In fact, we got there way before the event started because... some of my caregroup peeps and I were involved in God's Love Movement contingent. Guess what, I bumped into Karen there! Her cheerleading team Rexaz was going to kick off the event with their cheer routine :)
So the whole thing was pretty fun. It felt like a school's sports day-cum-carnival because there were many game stations, and candy floss! And they were playing Hillsong's music all day! =D We were at this soft toy throw-catch station and we won! Hahaha, our reward was a can of 100-plus and it never tasted so good. We also tried riding the mechanical bull, played some paper toss game and cheered on our people as we watched from the sidelines. Took pictures on my fisheye camera as well and I can't wait till I get the film developed! Wanted to stay on initially for praise and worship but I gave it a miss in the end because I want an early night as I'll be serving tomorrow...
I'm kinda psyched about that and I pray that I find favour with the kids!
