First week of 2011 and everything's going well so far. Other than spending what people might say is an unhealthy amount of time with Sam (but I feel it's fine because things will be different when we both start work), I've met up with my ex MTV colleagues for a gift exchange where we watched TV, caught up with one another, played games and of course, drank. Also met up with Mag for brunch at Wild Honey and I love that place :) Would go back there anytime!
Also went for a much-needed facial with my sister at this amazing place, Skin Revival, which I call my oasis in the city. They have moved to a new location since last July and I love the decor of the place! White Victorian chairs... Cream coloured walls... Soft lighting and calming ambience music.. Very nice *thumbs up* Then on another occasion I took my hooves to a nail salon in Orchard Central while Sam and Pefita were doing some paperwork for their CPA thingy. My feet felt so much better after buffing away most of the callused skin and massage was divine... :) Ahh tis the life.
In the meantime, I've also been sending out resumes but I'm keeping my options open now. I've been asked if I'm interested in doing freelance writing and I've applied for another job that's not exactly what I like but I'm sure it would be hella cool if I did get it.
First service of the year for me, at New Creation Church today. It's.... different from what I'm used to, doesn't really feel like home to me, yet. I can understand why the pastor's popular with his congregation because he's very... Singaporean and he is able to relate to his people, which is really important when you want to spread the gospel.
Anyways I still have a problem with tracking days/dates because I'm still living a day ahead, like how I thought today's Monday! Gees... Hopefully this.. habit/quirk will not lead me to another embarrassing situation.. hahaha
