It's funny how I started the semester thinking that once I get through the first two weeks with activities lined up almost everyday, things would start to slow down. But how wrong can I get hahaha.
But anyways, last week was interesting despite it being a tiring week for me. Attending a safety awareness initiative launch, visiting Griffith University Gold Coast campus for their Market Day, horse-riding and strawberry picking and trying out new food places with friends.
On another note, I've informed my coach of my decision to quit the team after the competition end August. Anyway, I just found out that what we used to do in Magnum (stunts wise) is considered Level 4 - 6 in Australia and the team I'm with now is a Level 3 squad so that explains my.... boredom at times. Hahaha so after the competition, I think I'm finally going to try something else, or something different. Bet mum and dad would be happy to know about this.
I'm so glad we managed to pull the NDP event off and I can finally breathe easy for a while. I've got free tickets to Ekka (from Study Brisbane) and Valentino's exhibition (from my study coordinator) so it's gonna be a fun day tomorrow :)
I'm starting to run again, like after more than 2 months. :) I'm more comfortable with my stride now as compared to 4 weeks back where my ankle joint was still very stiff and my range of motion had decreased by a lot. My run was so awkward then. And I saw gymboy again! LOL, he came up and talked to me when I was about to leave the gym. He always asked about me but I always didn't ask about him!! Okay, must make it a point to find out more about him as well if not it will seem like an unfair exchange of information.
Anyways, will blog more tonight. Gonna start on my journal entries for my assignment, come up with ideas for a capsule collection for my portfolio, iron my clothes and pack my room (bummer).
