If there's only one thing cheerleading taught me, it would be the fact that no one's indispensible. The world continues spinning, with or without you. If you're not there, someone will just take your place. Such is life.

I didn't blog about this earlier because I don't want people (especially my parents) to worry but I had a really bad fall during partner stunting 2 Sundays ago and my ankle swelled up.

Notice the bulge on the right ankle?

I was so afraid it was more than a sprain because it hurt like hell and I heard a crack when I landed. Kendrick came by and drove me down to the A&E department at the hospital the next day and I'm so thankful to him for that. It was a very long wait to see the doctor after I got my x-ray done but I was so relieved to hear that there was no fracture and it was a very bad sprain. He sent me home with a pair of crutches which became my best friends for the next couple of days.

The first thing I see in the morning

My current state: I'm able to stand on both feet, place some weight on my injured ankle and I walk with limp (just a very slight limp). Can't exactly flick with my right ankle or support my entire weight on my right ankle and sometimes my right ankle has a mind of its own. :(

It really sucks sitting on the sidelines watching your team mates do the stuff you know you can do but you can't because you're not fully healed. :( It sucks because I'm not getting my dosage of TLC. :( I know things could have been worse, but still...

All it took was just a queasy stomach to cause all the emo-ness I've been holding back come rumbling out.
