K is for Kelly

Okay, I shall blog since I have time while waiting for Sammyboy.

For the uninitiated, I've been back in Sunnypore for almost 3 - 4 weeks already. I tried to keep a low profile, but I got spotted by a friend who I wanted to surprise as well. *damn!* Well it's been fun watching faces of my friends transform when I surprise them - from polite smiles as if they were meeting an acquaintance to the jaw-drop expressions when realisation dawned on them that it was me instead. :) So I've met up with everyone I wanna meet up with, well almost all except for a few. So... I guess I'll see them in 2010 because I guess I'll be too busy the next few days.

So... I went to Union Square finally and I just felt sooo happy because it's been so long since I last salsa-ed. :) I got spun round and round by Bharath and it's just so fun! I saw them do the casino rueda as well and I feel so proud of their progress... :)

What else can I say? Hmmm I got a bit of a shock when I went down to Orchard Road. The first thought that came to my mind was, "Did Singapore's population increase drastically while I was gone?" because the whole place was so packed in the early afternoon already on a weekday! I really had a headache trying to navigate myself through the crowd. I knew Ion and Orchard Central were up and running, but I didn't know there was a 313 Somerset as well! Maybe an additional new mall was the reason behind the maddening crowd.

And yeah, the reason for my return is to clock hours for my internship which is an unit I gotta clear for school. It's tiring, fun but I also can't wait for it to end hahaha!

There are far more things I wanna say, but for now I just wanna say, it's nice/fun to be back, but I can't wait to go back to Brisvegas!
