Study break

Backdated entry from study break!

During study break, we sorta had a mini road-trip over several days (actually... 2 days only I think). Some peeps didn't join us due to various reasons, so it was just Wesley, Joson, Leonard, sis and me!

The guys came and picked us up and we headed to Sunnybank to do some grocery shopping *beams*

Soo... We bought some snacks and a whole carton of Indo Mee! =D And no, we haven't finished it yet if you are curious. The guys also stocked up on bottles of soymilk..

After that, off to Ikea!



I got Fish & Chips whereas Kelda got meatballs. We had a Diam cake to share.

After that, we walked about and started snapping silly pictures













How can we not get hotdogs and ice-cream while we were there? We all got ice-cream except Leonard, who settled for a hotdog instead. We were given just the cone when we bought the ice-cream. Gotta stick our cone into this machine, press a button and viola! we get our ice-cream

















After Ikea, we went to check out Stones Corner. Nothing much over there, prolly because most shops were starting to call it a day when we arrived.

We then had dinner at the Fishmonger's Wife on Lytton Road.





Had fish (cod) & chips... Wasn't too much to shout about in my opinion. I prefer fish & chips from A Salt & Battery. Just found out from a friend that it's better to choose barramundi instead in order to taste the freshness of the fish on a separate trip to Fishmonger's Wife when Daryl was in town.

After dinner, time for dessert! Drove all the way down to Gold Coast for some Max Brenner! The guys didn't order anything and they were playing games on Joson's iTouch. So Kelda and I shared an Italian Thick Chocolate served in a Hug Mug and a Belgian Waffle *yums!* It was mega windy (we were seated outdoors), so the hot chocolate really warmed me up :)





After that, home sweet home... Leonard was behind the wheel and he did something that really scared the hell outta us. As he was turning into our street, he drove onto the wrong lane, and there was an incoming taxi on that lane!! I let out a squeak and I wanna kiss the ground and thank God for being alive hahhaa
