One word to describe my surfing experience: AWESOME.
It was so much fun! From learning how to catch a wave, waiting for the right one to standing on the board. There are no words to describe the sense of achievement I felt when I managed to stand on the board and surf my way to the shore. Really thankful for the pleasant weather on the first day, and the awesome waves on the second day, and the awesome company I had! I must thank Steve and Joson specifically because they came to my rescue when I was caught in a rip current. You have no idea how terrified I was when my feet could no longer touch the bottom haha.
Surfing left me with souvenirs I'd never forget, tons of abrasions on my thighs and scrapped knees and feet. But it's really addictive and I see myself doing it over and over again :)
