Day 3:
Woke up at 6am as usual, freshened up, placed our luggage outside the door and went down for breakfast. Breakfast wasn't served yet, so we decided to take a walk in the garden at the back. My uncle told us that he saw peacocks there the day before so we went to check it out. :) They were in a really hugeass cage. They were all huddled up at the back of the cage and my crazy uncle went banging on the wired cage in an attempt to get them to move out. -.-"
There were hammocks hanging around. :) It looks comfortable, but the rope hurts because it's so rough! =(

Kate Rose at the entrance of the resort
First stop of the day: Visit at the 怡然 coffee factory. The place was pretty crowded with all the MLs all over the place.

The making of the yummy wafer biscuits that we bought alot! =D
After that, we were off to the Tropical Botanic Garden~

After we all got a sticker on our clothing, our tour guide brought us around the place :)

Coffee beans!

Some flowers that resemble fire-crackers. :)

Wait a minute, are we in a desert now? =P

Worker plucking off the coffee beans
Next, it was time to taste teas and coffees. We were all seated down at the tables with a small cup each and a basin was placed in the centre of the table. The workers would come around to pour beverages into our cups, and after we taste them and if we don't like it, we can pour it into the basin :)
Then it was shopping time~

Kate Rose modelling with our purchases!

Looking pretty in the warm sunlight
We're gonna head out now :)

Guess what's that?! *I have absolutely no idea man*

My sister is very annoying. She wants to lick and eat Kate Rose! >=[

Finally a proper picture for the 3 of us =D
While waiting for everyone to get out of the toilets, I did a jumping shot! :)

Now a group picture
Next stop, we're headed off to the Pearl Culture Centre to learn how cultured pearls were produced and have a look at the different kinds of precious pearls!

The difference between freshwater and saltwater pearls

The thinnest pearl necklace in the world - it is as thin as a piece of thread!

The leady was teaching us how to identify pearls. :) There should be a subtle glow, and if you scratch the pearls, you'll see a scratch on the pearl and there's powder on it.
Kelda and I each got a single pearl pendant, and some pearl skincare products =D This is just awesome! After we spend a certain amount for skincare, we get to get a turn at the wheel to see what prize we'll get. I spun the wheel very gently and the pointer seemed to hit the grand prize! Everyone was cheering and all that, and the lady placed the pointer down against the wheel and..... I got something else instead. Oh well... Not too bad, pearl cleansing milk! :) Not complaining...
Then we went out to go open the oysters to retrieve pearls after spending more than 200RMB. If you pick an oyster that has a pearl in it, the pearl is yours to keep. But if you're unlucky enough to pick one that doesn't have a pearl, that's just too bad. My mum got 2 pearls and promptly made them into necklaces :)
While waiting for the adults to be ready...

My sister, the Jay-Chou wannabe heeee!
Nownow... Lunchtime!

Mum & Dad

Kelila, Adeline and Keller

Auntie and Uncle :)
After lunch, we're off to the beach!
Seriously, both Kelda and I didn't know we're headed for the beach today. I mean, I'm always awake when Momo is talking, so I couldn't have possibly miss it. Unless.... unless... my understanding of what he said is really lousy, but I doubt so. Thank goodness when we got there, the bus-driver kindly opened up the compartment below for us to retrieve our luggage and take out our slippers :D

This whole place is very commercialised. You even have to pay a deposit/rental fee for the hammocks hanging from tree to tree. The only free thing was probably the sunlight, hahaha! I tell you, I can totally see why this place is called the Hawaii of the Orient! Too bad there weren't any bikini babes or hunks around. Okay, there's a hunk in the picture below, that's my cousin Melvin kor. *later he get offended haha!*

I totally love it here! The sun is just nice and there's cold wind blowing constantly! :) Loveitloveitloveit!
We bought tickets to go on the boat with the glass bottom =D

I tell you, Mainlanders are such an... indescribable bunch. *tsktsk* They pushed and shoved their tickets into the faces of the ticket collector, like seriously what's the rush?!
Pictures pictures!!

The girls are enjoying the cool breeze :)

Taking a snooze... I guess there's nowhere else they'd rather be now

My sis and I

Adeline and uncle Leak Tiang

My family

With mummy dearest

Mummy with the younger two

"I love you!" My mum is a little nutty and my aunt plays along with her hahaha! I think I inherited my mum's craziness :)
Why is it still not our turn yet..... so we continue to camwhore!

*Pufferfish!*

*We love you!*

Look where are these people headed... Guess they're gonna have a nice walk on the ocean bed while we continue waiting :)

Finally we are on our way to the boat! We managed to stay together as a family! Except for a couple of us got split into the other boat. The waves were pretty rough and the boat was really rocking. We got splashed by the crashing waves too, thank goodness the MLs rushed in and sat in front and they got really wet =D We changed boats in the middle of nowhere and the glass bottom boat was really swaying very badly.
So we settled down and started peering out of the glass panel. It took us quite a while before we started spotting fishes. So fun! =D I see the relatives of the fishies we rear (or used to rear) at home! At this point, I wonder how are the fishies at home surviving without being fed for close to a week...

My sister is a closet 'mat' =D

My mum and cousin Jeremy kor. Pardon my cousin, he can be quite a camwhore sometimes =P You'll prolly see him appear in my photos in the next few entries to come.
After a while, we decided to head back to shore so we went to sit at the upper deck area while waiting for the small boat to come.

On our ride back to the shore, the MLs had their plastic bags in hand and they had their eyes closed. The next thing I know, they hurled into their plastic bags! yikesssss. Next stop for the day --> LuHuiTou (deer looking back) Park
There's a love story behind this park. a young Li ethnic hunter ran after a deer from Mount Wu Zhi to the shore of South China Sea, crossing 99 mountains and 99 rivers in the process. The deer had nowhere else to run, and it suddenly froze in its tracks and as it stood on the edge of the cliff, it turned around looking at the hunter with such clear, beautiful yet sorrowful eyes. The hunter was poised to shoot, but he was so astonished that he lowered down his bow and arrow. Suddenly the deer transformed into a beautiful Li ethnic girl and they fell in love and settled down there. Since then, the romantic hill became a sacred place for young lovers to declare their love. The huge sculpture (which you'll see later on) on the top of the hill represents the moving scene of the love story and Sanya is also known as the Deer City. :)

We love taking pictures with rocks :)

The character "Love" inscribed on the rock
Oh yes, this is a deer park too. We came in the evening time... Think we were running short of time so we didn't see the deer. But we sure smelt them hahaha!

The Luck and Peace Tree

Ah-ha! time to leave this place~
The last stop for the day --> Dr. Tea

We were all ushered into the room for the tea appreciation ceremony.

We tried different kinds of tea, and learnt about their benefits. And my mum bought several cans. Hmm.... should have bought Pu-Er because it can be a form of investment by storing it! Do you know, the Pu-Er tea leaves can be included as part of dowry? It's that valuable... ( $ _ $ )

Then it's back to the hotel! :) I like this hotel, but the only bad thing will be the dim lightings in the room. Love the scenery outside our window. Reminds me of the skyline of HK. Seeing that there's a gym in the hotel, we went to check it out and Kelda and I both got a scare when we arrive on the floor which the gym was supposed to be on and it was pitch dark and everything seemed to be under construction. We promptly went back down again. ahhhaha! Went over to my aunt's room and we had a fruits + junkfood party! =D

After that, we all went back to rest in our rooms. Melvin kor went out for a jog, and guess what he came back with? KFC!! =D Kelda and I didn't eat, so we just hung out in Jeremy kor's room and talked abit hahaha, talked about how funny uncle is when he is very anal about keeping the room very neat. After a while, we headed back to our rooms to rest because we have to wake up early, as usual.

Momo's tucked in bed all ready to sleep.

Love the chair :) The girls are all changed out of their clothes hehe!

Good night! Blog more soon :)
Okay I'm really tired now, I needa shower and I promise to put up more pictures and words tomorrow, so look out for it!
