another year closer to who you gonna be

So we went to celebrate dear Magdalyn's birthday yesterday! (: I was the earliest, because I went to get birthday cake for the birthday darling and so I waited outside the MRT station for their arrival.

It turned out that none of the guys invited, except Larry for coming.. so yay! Before Larry came to join us, it was more like a girls' meet-up-bitching-session! =p We walked to Far East Plaza and to check out this notebook shop whereby they sell lovely, i mean really lovely notebooks! man, they were really pretty.. It has this 'THELIFESHOP' feel to it... damn cool lah!

BUT IT WAS CLOSED. DAMN.
so the closest we could get to them was to admire them thru the glass windows. so we decided to go and eat cuz our stomachs' were rumbling. TO HARD ROCK CAFE AND BEYOND!!

Grace ah, that kancheong spider called me to confirm if we are coming down to HRC and asked if we wanna sabo Mag anot. So I asked, got good sabos and jialat sabos one anot? Then I decided that... what goes around comes around... I better give her a good sabo. =P

We walked into HRC and Grace greeted all of us and presented the birthday girl with a balloon sculpture in the shape of a pretty flower! :) haha.. then she showed us to our seats and then gave us the menus and got busy with work. All of us ordered set lunches and then we resumed with our 'catching up'... =) Snapped loadsa pictures... hoping for ppl to send them to me so I can put them up here... *HINT HINT HINT VERY BIG ALREADY HOR* heheheh ;)

Ooh, Alan served us too. =D We were all feeling full by the time the dessert came... And then Larry appeared.. hahaha, but he ate really quickly. that fella was hungry as well ;) then brought out the cake.. The waitress made Mag go up to the stage and stand on the chair while we all sang her a birthday song. :D Then Alan presented her with her birthday sundae and then they took a photo together for her to keep. :D hehe, the best part is yet to be.. The waitress shoved the cherry on top of the sundae right smack into depth of the whipped cream and Mag hafta get it out using her teeth. =P So she was whining, "You all bully me!" hahaha then the waitress gave her reply:

"THAT'S WHAT HARD ROCKERS ARE FOR!"

hehe, damn fantastic answer! Then we proceeded to cut the cake up and consumed it slowly.. cuz all of us were very bloated by then. So after paying up, we thanked Alan & Grace for serving us and then headed back to Far East Plaza to take a look at the beautiful notebooks again! Man... damn nice lah... my heart+hand itchy itchy.. wanna buy... *sigh* then went to take a look at handphones... cuz Ju Leen wanna change her phone.. so yups. Headed back to school for training.

Training was alright. Tried new stuff and it was good ;) Really glad that the juniors were picking things up really fast now... Hopefully no more knowledge gap in time to come.. =)


So I was expecting a reply from the editor yesterday... checked my email and he didn't reply me and I was feeling rather upset because I thought he didnt take my complaint seriously...

Just when I was about to write an email to him... I saw this email:



Hehehe, so okay lah. I'm feeling alright now.. I just realised that when you're in the media industry, you will practically have no life. Look at the time he sent that email in to my account. 0.o
