Turning 21st!

First of all, I wanna thank everyone who took time off on Sunday (when people usually wanna laze around) to come to my birthday party! :) I wanna say that I'm overwhelmed by the gifts. :) I really love them!! Please pardon me if I haven't been a good host, I won't give excuses for myself but trying to make everyone feel comfortable has been really tiring and by 8ish, a headache was creeping up already. I'll blog more about it this weekend when I have the time. :)

Work's been really crazy (I know I've said this nth time and you know it's really true when I always wanna update but I can't even find the time to access blogger at work) and all I wanna do when I get home these days (lucky if I come home by 8ish) is to get a nice shower, chill in front of the TV while getting my legs massaged, and then pop into bed.

I'm really happy :) My family is in Korea, having the time of their lives freezing their asses off and I thought my mum would probably not do anything since I told her that she don't need to give me an angbao since she's paying for the buffet and made all those yummy treats already. Butbutbutbutbut, she left a note to Kelda, telling her to give me the prepared angbao on my birthday! *feeling loved* At the stroke of 12midnight, Kelda shouted "Happy Birthday" into my ear and I got a shock because my feet were planted in the uSqueeze and I couldn't move =p She bought the SaraLee pound cake thinking that no one bought a cake for me. Bern came out with my birthday cake as well..... *feeling so loved* And I receive my presents and I can't be anymore happier =D I received my HairSpray vcd, Lomography book and my Supersampler!! =D

I'm feeling really blessed right now and thanks to everyone who made my day!

Quick update

[add] Back from the gala premiere! :) I totally enjoyed the movie and the whole experience, despite the hassle of walking up and down and up and down just to look for the damned table to collect our tickets (those GV people were totally of no help *tsktsk*) We reached GV Vivo at around 7ish as Ariel had loads of bookings to finish before we could leave.


Tickets, coupon to redeem our hot dog and entry to the cocktail reception that we were kinda late for.


Drinks! Food!




You know, I totally didn't expect them to place popcorn and Coke on our seats! :) *teehee* I don't really drink soft drinks, so I took it home so my dad can have it.

Oh yeah.. I. Have. To. Mention. This: The Rock was in the house!! =D I managed to catch a glimpse of him heeeee. Also, there were mediacorp artistes there as well :)

The movie's really good! Top Boston Rebels football star, Quarterback Joe Kingman, has an unknown 8-year old daughter from a former marriage show up on his doorstep. This precocious youth, Peyton Kelly, transforms his life from a egotistical, promiscuous bachelor to a loving father. Instead of decreasing his popularity, his daughter makes the athlete even more popular among fans and teammates. Joe Kingman admires Elvis Presley (The King) and fills his life with Elvis memorabilia and actions. Little Peyton steers her Dad away from his exotic, blonde Russian girlfriend, Tatianna, towards her wholesome ballet teacher, Monique Vasquez. A turn of events ends with a happy ending for both the football and romance sides of this Disney family big-budget film. Ahhhh, i love happy endings :) Gonna watch this with Bern again! Thanks Ariel for bringing me! =D

Work's been very, very very busy ever since my jobscope has been expanded.
I don't even have time to feed my (fluff)pet or go round petting friends' pets!! (think that should say alot about my current workload) All I can say is that, I hope I can manage everything without doing OT on a daily basis and I don't wanna leave the building without seeing the sun. :)

Alrighty, I'm going to get more to-dos striked off my list before I go off with Ariel to catch the gala premiere of The Game Plan :)

Will blog more about our 2nd year anniversary later on tonight when I get home :) I love my Michael Kors watch! ♥ ♥ ♥

It's mid-week already!

It's mid-week already, to think I was being a worrywart, worrying about work over the weekend. Bern was really sweet and he heard me rant and blabber on about work and helped me out. I was dreading work so much on Monday, he popped by my office (actually I saw him at Park Mall instead of my office) to give me a beeeeeeeeeg hug and a bright sunflower! =)

Signed my contract for my permanent position yesterday. yoooooooohooooooooooooo!! There are several pages long of benefits, but I haven't looked thru it all yet. There's also an increment in pay, but I'm saving it up for my studies. x) I'm looking forward to taking leaves and going on well-deserved (may be short) holiday trips with my baby as well.. =D

time really pass very fast... It's already Dec 13th!
- 2 days to Velda's McDonald's party
- 7 days to department X'mas party
- 9 days to Ariel's birthday
- 11 days to Bern&Kells 14th monthiversary
- 16 days to our Taipei/HK trip!

P/S: If you're Ariel, Ashaley, Chiuyan, or anyone else from my department and you've picked the slip with my name and fretting over what to get for me within the budget.... FRET NO MORE! Devil Wears Prada VCD/DVD can already! :D
