At home in Paris

Il n’y a que deux endroits au monde où l’on puisse vivre heureux:  chez soi et à Paris. (There are only two places in the world where we can live happy: at home and in Paris) ~Ernest Hemingway
I had shared with Kevin how I wished we can visit my hometown annually and I never thought we'll be back so soon! :D Last October when we came to Paris, we drank in the enchanting sights and although we had taken plenty of pictures of us (selfie-style), I wished that we had beautiful (and professional) pictures of us to capture the memories we shared in Paris.

In preparation of the trip, I was doing some research on things to do in Paris where I came across Pictours™ Paris and they specialise in taking couples, families and solo travellers on a walking tour through the streets of Paris and take professional photos all along the way!

I quickly emailed Lindsey, the founder of Pictours™ Paris and after multiple email exchanges across the different timezones, we've set aside a date for our photoshoot. :) Lindsey's a really nice and friendly lady from the US and it was really nice chatting with her to find out how it's like living in Paris. We met up at Cafe Iolanda near Eiffel Tower and started taking pictures at Pont de Bir-Hakeim (where one of the scenes in Inception was filmed).
Check out the pictures below!

After that, we took a taxi (10 EUR) to our next location Pont des Arts. The last time we didn't have a lock with us so I made sure we brought one from home this time around! ;)

I heard a portion of the bridge's railing collapsed.... =X Anyways, we then walked over to Trocadero at a leisurely pace (while Lindsey snapped away) and found ourselves at the Lourve!

Can you believe that it was about 7:45pm when we got to the Lourve and it was still so bright?! That is beyond me. We also snuck into a secret place at the Lourve where Lindsey likes to capture pictures of couples... ;)

To end off the whole session, we snapped our last few pictures at Jardin des Tuileries nearby and then walked back to our hotel. :) So that's that, some of my favourite photos from the batch of 171 photos sent over! Lindsey also made sure there was one set that's meant for print and another set that's suitable for web viewing. :) Now you know who you can look for if you want beautiful portraits in this amazing city of Love ;)
