Happy Halloween!

There are different ways of celebrating Halloween - dressing up as characters and head to parties, going trick-or-treating... and this year we decided to carve pumpkins instead. =D

So we got two pumpkins and Joson watched a Youtube tutorial to understand how to carve pumpkins hahaha!

Now that we've cut off the top bit, it's time to start gutting it. Taking out the seeds and removing the flesh.

Armed with a pair of scissors, my sister's gonna cut out the face that would be traced onto the pumpkin.

Now we start carving the face!

Now it's Geri's turn to take a stab at it, and then we all took turns to carve a part.

* I still have many pictures but the stupid computer at uni just went bonkers after I spent some time working on some pictures. So this is what I have for now but more of them are on my harddrive. *


Now that we finished the carving, we used alcohol to clean off the markings.


Our first pumpkin looking clean and happy! Bet you didn't know this but we hafta moisturise the pumpkin as well...


Then we placed a tealight in.... (taken in the toilet with the lights on to test it) =D
