I initially wanted to put up alot of entries but I can't do because my Macbook has gone to Apple heaven T.T so... I really don't know what I wanna write about but... it's been a tough week.
Been pulling all-nighters two nights in a row to finish my essay that's worth 50% of my unit, and I'm really thankful I have awesome friends who go for dinner with me, keep me company through the night, checking on my progress occasionally and just being there when I need someone to ask random questions whenever I'm taking a break from work. I'm thankful for that.
I'm thankful that my laptop crashed one day after submission of the essay, if not I'll go ballistic because I didn't have a back-up copy on a thumbdrive or something. That teaches me a lesson: always back up your files. T.T Why don't I ever learn?
I'm thankful that Jennifer is coming over tomorrow, so my mum could pass her my sis's old MacBook Pro. Mummy if you're seeing this, thank you so much for going down to the airport to meet Jenn! It's gonna be so good meeting up with her tomorrow, she hasn't had a flight to Brissy ever since I came back in Feb.
Above all, I want to say that despite all these shitty things happening, I have faith that all is well... Being involved in church ministry has opened up my eyes. I know I've said that I want to go to places like Paris or other parts of Australia for my graduation trip, but now I'm actually considering maybe going on a mission trip instead. The idea of exploring a new place is exhilarating and you gain wonderful memories in the process, but I don't think it can be compared to the footprints you leave in people's lives.
