K is for Kelly

Sometimes I can't help but wonder if the people around us are placed by God Himself. I went for the 11am service, just like any Sunday. I left my place late so I didn't have time to top up my go card and was slightly worried that I don't have enough value to get me home. But... as Pastor Brian says... the Lord will provide :)

I thought I would walk in and out of the auditorium alone, just like the Sunday services before but God made connections in my life. It so happened that I was seated beside this lady with her husband and during our brief interaction, I realised that she's a fellow Singaporean and she has been staying in Australia with her husband for almost 18 - 19 years. She also has a son who's studying at QUT and they are looking for a place near school for him to stay. After the service, she offered to give me a ride back home since they were meeting their son in the Valley for grocery shopping.

They were really nice people; people who love God and love people and I can't say just how thankful I'm to meet them. They were really sincere people who really just want to offer help as much as possible since I'm living on my own (though Kelda is with me). They even gave me all their contact details, telling me to look for them if I ever need help since her husband was working for the police force. And I can't express just how awesome God is, to put them in my life, and to have people to run to if I ever do need assistance in a foreign land.
