The guys came to pick us up from our apartment early in the morning and the drive up to Sunshine Coast begun. We arrived earlier than expected and we had like, what 20 mins or so to kill. So the guys allowed my sister and I to have a go at the wheels in the near empty carpark. -.-"
Soon the zoo was open and we went in! We saw crocodiles in sorta individual enclosures.

*teehee* I'm on one!

Crikey! An aspiring crocodile hunter among us.
Checked out the snakes exhibit next. Sorry didn't put up alot of pictures because I'm lazy!

Green python

Scrubbies.

Reticulated python and the little pig it ate
The reticulated python is the longest snake in the world. The largest specimen was measured to be 10.1m. The skeleton seen here is 5.82m long. It died in the Australia Zoo and aged about 20 years.

We were wondering what the hell was the bird doing until we saw this:

Wombat! so cutee!

I like how the zoo-keepers know their animals. We were at the birds exhibit and the zoo-keepers looked like they were doing a roll call to see if the birds were around.

I should know how hard it is to pose with animals.

Sleeping koala

Maybe they should change their diet or something.

Aww, so cute :) Off to somewhere to meet the people

What a name ahhaha!

The very awesome enclosure of the elephants

Looking at the various enclosures, it sure rocks being an animal at the Australia Zoo

This is the future home for the cheetahs. Wow.

Cheetah out for a walk!
Then it was time to hop over to the Crocoseum for the show!

So this is where they went

Meet the Irwins

After the show, time to grab some grub!

It even comes with a squeaky croc toy! Hahahaha

At the souvenir shop

It was a great day at the zoo! Onward to the vineyards!

We tried Flame Hill wine (courtesy of Steve) at Joson & Regina's birthday party the other time and I was hooked onto the taste! So we made a drive up to purchase wine =)

We had a wine-tasting session, made our choices and left the place. :) On our way down, we checked out a cheese and yogurt-making house, popped by this quaint little Irish-looking town and went somewhere near Coolum Beach for some (average-tasting) Thai seafood before heading back to Brissy.
