Everything's fine and dandy. :) Last Sunday I met up with Jennifer and Yi-Long. It's so good to see them!! We had lunch and then made a trip to Big W where I influenced them to buy wafers, hahaha! Jenn then passed me the bag of skincare/ bodycare products and magazines that my mum prepared. It was so damn heavy!! My mum weighed it and it was a hefty 11kg, and I was lugging it around the entire day.
I checked the contents and my mum packed in some skincare items that i wanted to throw out as well hahaha. I was extremely happy when I saw the magazines because I thought they were just gonna send me the recent Shape magazines that I requested. But they threw in the August issue of Female, Chic, Cleo and the list goes on! I'm feeling incredibly loved. ♥
Went to church too, it's a lovely environment with lotsa positive vibes. I'm gonna do a little church-hopping, and check out Hillsong Brisbane campus this week :)
Oh, we went for the live screening of the National Day Parade that QUT SSA and UQ SSS jointly organised. It was super fun! How can it not be when you are with your friends? Hahaha! Saw Yi-Long (again!) and Joshua there as well :) Then when the event ended, Geri, Kelda and I took a cab home. The meter really jumps as fast as my heartbeat. Haha!
Oh yes, we went to the Ekka yesterday with the Unilodgers! It was quite an experience.. I didn't get to try the strawberry sundae though, will upload pictures tonight or something. I can't believe the sun was so hot while we were there, for a moment I thought summer was here already! Maybe I should give a serious thought about going home for summer holidays...
