You can't choose your family, but I'm glad God gave me wonderful cousins. They weren't obligated to come down to help paint, but I'm really heartened that they were so on! :) Edbe stayed over on Saturday night whereas Melvin and Jeremy kors came over on Sunday morning.
btw, my bad. It's 3 cousins and not 4... think my dad got mixed up or something hahaha!
It was pretty enjoyable, we moved most of the furniture out and started painting. It was a paint-cum-bonding session; we chatted, we teased and joked, and they threw around several acronyms and terms that didn't make sense to me hahaha! But it was all good... We took a couple of breaks in between the hours of painting and by 7ish it's a wrap!
I was so thankful they came over to help out because I think I would take forever to paint it on my own! We went for dinner at Mr Teh Tarik after watching the Olympics closing ceremony before we all came back, chill a bit before my cousins went home. Jeremy kor sent me a very sweet sms today, and I'm really touched by how sweet and brotherly he is :)
Now now, I'm really get started on revamping my room. Next step: curtains, bedsheets and bookcase!
Btw, I went for my basic theory test earlier on today (i was late, damn the traffic!), was in and out in less than 13 mins hahaha! Needless to say, I passed! =) Booked my final theory test date, but I'm gonna log in everyday, hoping that someone will sell their slot at the last minute, muahaha!
