Roxy Parfum Launch at Cafe Del Mar (15th September)
Met Bern in the afternoon and we headed off to VivoCity, grabbed ourselves ice-cream and the train tickets to Sentosa for the Roxy parfum launch. It was my first time on the Sentosa Express and Bern calls me 'suaku' when I went "wah.. wahh!" because he's been on it when he went there for fam trips. -.- I can't help it, I still get all wide-eyed all the time! :)

We took a nice long walk, where we passed by Far Coast and parked ourselves at the trapeze and see people do their thing. It was fun watching the kids hahaha :) Then we walked back to Cafe Del Mar and plonked ourselves down at the comfortable chairs. I really like the place alot! :) Went ahead with the Roxy photoshoot and got the picture to keep. Bern ordered this green-coloured drink which I can't remember the name, and it was yummy! I sipped on my frozen peach margarita and when I finished the drink, I licked the sugar on the rim of the glass, niceee. Andrea Fonseka was the host of the event and at first glance, she looked rather mannish! =X But after several looks, she looks good lah. Saw some personalities as well, like Muttons (Vernon A and Justin), Shan Wee, yadayada.

LIME Flea Market (22nd September)
This is my first time setting up a stall at a flea market! :) I really gotta thank my mum, she's always so prepared! She helped me stuff all my secondhand clothes, accessories, CDs et al into a luggage, prepared a pouch with $50 worth of $1 coins, $100 worth of $10 notes, $50 worth of $2 notes (total $200 worth of change) and helped me carry down the rack that I'll be using to display the clothes on. She was worried that I couldn't get a cab easily but hoho, I managed to hail a cab within 2 minutes of waiting :) So picked up Bern along the way and off we went to Cathay Cineleisure.

We reached there rather early, town was still kinda peaceful and the people hanging out at LJS were some of the flea market stallholders. When the people in-charge came, we lugged our stuff over and I went to get information of our stall location. I was hoping that it would be a good location, and that was what I got. :) We were located near the trees, so we got ample shade and breeze, the place was also exposed to human traffic :) I realised how lucky we were when I walked past stalls that were in the sun with the owners holding articles to block the sun off their faces on my toilet break. And thank god there was a stall providing non-stop music! The other time I went to pay the rental of the booth, it was deathly quiet. = I think my guardian angels really answered my prayers :)

Managed to get a good amount of clothes cleared and boy, people really know how to bargain! :) Anyway, I made a profit, covered my retnal fee, set-up costs and taxi fare. It was fun, but it will be quite a while before I set up another booth again :)

Lunch @ HRC (28th September)
As we (as in Catherine, Ash, Ariel, Dong, Azlin, Serena, ladies from Ops, and moi) volunteered to help out for our MTV's children's day, we were rewarded with HRC vouchers! We were to share $100 voucher among the 5 of us (Ariel, Ashaley, Catherine, Dong and me) initially, but the ladies from Ops gave us their $100 voucher as well because take-aways weren't allowed with the voucher. So, YAY!!! =D

On our way there

So we shared a chilli crab dip, and a jumbo combo which came with a variety of starters like spring rolls, chicken tenders, onion rings, potato skins and buffalo wings. Haha, we totally maximise the chilli crab gravy dip by coating our food in it! We also each ordered a drink and a main course; which I picked Twisted Mac n' Cheese with grilled chicken. :)

We really enjoyed our food, and by the time my main course was served, I was 60% full. -.- So I offered everyone to have a bit of my Mac n' Cheese while I tried to stuff myself as much as possible, which I failed haha.

Dinner at Sakura International Buffet (30th September)
Met up for dinner on Sunday with Ariel, Dong, Azlin and Chiuyan. The spread wasn't too bad :) there are the visuals hehe
I only started snapping pictures after my first round =p

Soup, drink, and lotsa food!

Clockwise from top left: Ariel, moi, Dong, Chiuyan, Azlin

I've got my strategy when I have buffets after my experience at Kuishin-bo.
Tip #1: Take whatever you wanna eat just once, that way you'll get to sample alot and feel satisfied, not bloated till you feel like puking.
Tip #2: Go easy on the main course so you can overdose on desserts =D

MTV Kids @ Work day (1st October)
Remember we volunteered to help out at our children's day celebration? It's da day! MTV staff brought their children, nephews and nieces to the office for an afternoon of fun, food and entertainment!

Ariel and I were in charge of activities like bowling and foosball. It was damn tiring, rearranging the pins, the pins were so wobbly in the first place!! After a while, I gave up. =X Actually, this little cute girl who's like perhaps 2-3 years old playing with it and I guess well, let her play lah :)

There was also a game station for the kids to play Xbox. Other activities are like colouring, tattooing, yadayada :)

Guess who came?

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS AND PATRICK STAR!

The kids were really happy to meet Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick! Our fellow colleagues kindly volunteered to be the mascots haha :) *salute*

Cakes with Dora the explorer and Spongebob Squarepant on them :)

There was also a studio tour for the kids, some of them got to go into the Pop Inc set and got filmed! :)

Kids love playing foosball hahaha. I was quite scared because some kids might get poked in the eyeball by the sticks because they are not as tall, so I was always alert.

We also had food and following that, the Ronnie Rainbow magic show!

Pardon the English, I think Sally has alot on her mind to care about the mistakes =p

Tracy's girls in pink enjoying the show :)

The kids were really engaged, the participants for each magic trick walked away with a balloon sculpture. The kids on the floor were chanting "burst! burst! burst!" while the magician was twisting away to form the balloon sculpture. hahaha :)

Everyone's lining up to get a balloon sculpture

Now pictures of kids *cue 'awwww's and 'so cute's*
