女人的钱很容易赚!S-A-L-E. This 4-lettered word is women's (or rather, my own) weakness. Yesterday I met Juleen to go check out the L'Oreal private sale. Gosh, the queue was snaking long! We had to wait for quite a bit before we could finally check out the products. I managed to get myself a couple of Biotherm and Vichy products, so I left the place a very happy girl and about 90+ poorer. Hahaha, then popped over to Lucky Plaza to collect the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque I ordered in a spree. I must really watch my pursestring this month. *nods*

Caught Pirates of the Caribbean yesterday with Bern! It was really good in my opinion, who cares about what Melanie Oliverio (movie critic on PTM) says?! Swashbuckling action and loads of twists and turns in the movie keeps you in your seat entertained. And for some strange reason, movie-goers seem to find the line "Welcome to Singapore" funny. Funny meh? Singapore used to have pirates-infested waters what. And that monkey Jack, is sooo adorable! He really stole the spotlight at several times! :) It would really be good if you're a fan or you have photgraphic memory because there were some references to the previous 2 movies and you'll prolly miss out on the little private jokes if you don't remember the movie. The ending was... unexpected. It must be really painful to be separated from the one you love. I'm hoping that there's a fourth part to it! :)

Andandandand, I've caught Phantom of the Opera! My mum caught it when she was in London and said it was very good and I trust her taste, hahaha. It was brilliant, the transition between scenes was so smooth, the effects were really good, the voices were amazing (haunting even), the costumes were so elaborate and I was so immersed in the story. During the last scene after Christine left with Raoul, the Phantom sat on his chair covered him with a cloak. And when this person came in later and removed the cloak, the Phantom had disappeared, leaving only his mask behind. It's like WOAH! He really disappeared into the thin air! I'm really impressed and really glad that I caught it. It's worth paying good money for good seats to watch a legendary musical on a world-class stage, $130+ well spent. :)
