Soon after, we hafta get into the vehicle to take us to the airport where we'll be heading for HK.

*I only fly first-class.... not!*
Touched down at HK International Airport, collected our luggages and headed to the tourist's pick-up area and waited to be picked up...

Hahaha, it's so cool!! We actually took an airport transfer shuttle service to our hotel.

The chairs were so comfy, like massage chairs! We crossed the Tsing Ma Bridge to get to the other side... haha and we took a long nap. Checked into Royal Pacific Hotel and once again we got some problems with our hotel room.

Here we are!
We went shopping at Harbour City which is within walking distance from our hotel. It's sales everywhere!! *beams* I got tops from Zara whereas Bern got his pants from FCUK at really cheap prices!

The scene at night with all that neon lights. (while walking to Harbour City)
We had dinner and headed to check out the Symphony of Lights laser show at some private club's corridor. It's a nightly harbour-side spectacle set against Hong Kong's stunning skyline. It involves 33 buildings decked out in dancing neon lights, searchlights and laser beams, all coordinated to music and narration. It takes place every night at 8pm and it's a permanent feature.

The skyline of HK... really pretty :)

After that, we went to Fa Yuen Street, otherwise known as Sportswear Street.

It's a shopping street filled with shops selling sports gear, and there are quality products of all kinds and all brands at affordable prices. =D I got two nike tops for about $30 SGD! I also managed to get a jacket for Kelda =D

Next, it's ladies' market! Shopshopshopshopshopped again =D
Then it was back to the hotel for some zZzZzZ....
Next morning, it's an action-packed day for us!

POAD sighted in Hong Kong! =D
First stop of the day: Avenue of Stars
We took a stroll down to check out Hong Kong's movie legends. There are also stars' handprints and statues. The bronze statue of Bruce Lee is their latest addition to the place.

I'm going to tell the director a secret about you...

Me with handprints of Jackie Chan! We even took a picture with him... Too lazy to scan in, will do so when I have much more time.
Next, dimsum time!

We went to their traditional local dimsum restaurant. Love the spread of food available... buns, pastries, dumplings.. yadayada...

Heeheee, fried buns, fried carrot cake, xiaolongbaos, charsiew baos and also chee cheong fun (which is not in the picture)! I love the chee cheong fun!

Dig in!

We took a bus down to the Star Ferry, it's a double-decker bus!

Here we come!

Lovely background... =)

This is a must-try ride for all tourists... =D

We are waiting for our bus to take us to the Peak so we can take the Peak tram!
We bought a package, two-way tram ride and a visit to Madame Tussauds' wax museum!

We are on the tram x) The Peak Tram is pulled by steel cables, and the tram climbs 373 metres. It's so steep that the buildings you pass by look like they are leaning at 45 angle degrees! =D

We are at the top now!

View from the top

Spectacular surrounding city skyline and us.
Off we go to Madame Tussauds'!

I got a shock when I stepped inside. Camera flashes start going off! So this is how the celebs feel whenever they are on the red carpet, or even when they are just out on their daily routines.

Bern's highlight: Twins!
It was really fun.. there were loads more pictures, but it will kill me if I blog somemore about it. So let's move on!

While waiting for the bus: I think 2nd Jan is a good day to get married, look! Two wedding cars in sight. Earlier on, we saw wedding couples taking pictures as well.
We took the tram back down and took the open top bus! A great way to check out the architecture while relaxing and enjoying the breeze.

This is the tram, the only double-decker tram fleet operating in the world.

Check it out! Known to us as Guardian, it's Mannings in HK
Bought tickets for Disneyland, took MTR all the way down to Sunny Bay to change to Disney Express! =D
