Bern & I went to catch Forbidden City: Portrait of an Empress last Saturday! We managed to get good tickets (think 2 Category 1 tickets at the price of 1!), and the musical was really good and funny at some parts.. It held me spellbound.. Lovely songs, stellar cast! Hossan Leong, Dick Lee, Kit Chan = pride of Singapore! x)
It's so irritating inside the theatre because our over-zealous area-in-charge stopped us from taking pictures inside the theatre, while we see photography flashes all over the damn theatre! *grrrs*
Outside the Esplanade after the musical. *hrmpf* since I can't take pictures inside, I'll take pictures outside! I'm sure that's allowed!
Gosh. My biceps are like, huge. eeks. *mental note: toning, nothing else*

Then we popped by Xing Wang Hong Kong Cafe for our either very late lunch/ early dinner (think 6ish)
Chicken cheese baked rice, peanut butter + condensed milk + sprinkling of milo powder on top of toast, shrimp roll and fried carrot cake slices.
I think this lethal combination of cheesy, sweet, oily stuff gave me a case of food poisoning, and only me. Bern was fine. My. stomach. is. weak. bleah.

Silly shot! haha

Fishball cheeks and takopachi on the right!

Us.

Listening for the whirring sound my pop9 makes while waiting for the flash to be turned on.
After that, we went to Holland V to buy a new camera! x) Mum asked me to pass down my old Canon Ixus 40 to Kelila because hers was spoilt. =) *tadah*! I got the Casio Exilim z700! =D pretty cheap, 500+ after GST, free leather pouch and memory disk thrown in.. I love how user-friendly it is! Several modes available with a simple touch on the button.. I love the USB cradle as well!
So I brought my toy out for some experimenting...
After trying Botak Jones with my friends from MTV, Bern & I decided to visit the Botak Jones in Clementi! x)

Yes yes, I know I know. Botak Jones is a stall located in eating houses, better known as coffee-shops under void decks or kopitiams and not in an air-conditioned restaurant. But it serves authentic American food at a really reasonable prices with a really generous serving. People in other countries like to dine al fresco, so I think eating at a kopitiam now doesn't seem that bad eh? By the way, I really like their menu (though it kinda remind me of stapled exam papers) because they added jokes every now and then in it.
Food food food!

This is my Fish & Chips, regular size. It's really filling. *rubs satisfied tummy*

Bern's Cajun Chicken Plate.. something like that lah.
And oh, Adriel gave us some MTV lanyards! =D

I gave the Spongebob & Patrick one to Bern.... x)

My work station! x) Flat screen TV on one side.. PC on the other.. the neatest my table will ever get.. minus the piles of sales orders on the side that was not captured.
Been eating 3 different types of mooncakes in 2 days.. The ones couriered over from our Taiwan counterparts.. One box from Mr Ong.. and another box of Raffles Hotel mooncakes... *faints* But I'm not complaining! Food, please come this way!
