late night update

Had PITCH meeting sometime on monday, trying to get everything ready for the big day [14th Jan]. Was apalled by our media and publicity officer's attitude on the phone with potential schools, and I was not the only one who felt that way.

He called up the school and immediately asked to speak to the principal, of cuz no admin personnel would be in the right mind to direct any tom, dick or harry's call immediately to the principal lah! He was downright rude and everything not PR! He condemned all those people over the phone 'idiots'. that's so not cool loh.

so me and a couple of our grpmates chided him, saying that his way was wrong and perhaps it was his tone and attitude that made them said 'NO' straight in his face. told him that he needed to introduce himself, the reason why he's calling before he asked to speak to the principal.. *tsktsk* thank god it's just another few more weeks of working together..

finished my media law assignment way before it's due! am proud of myself. *gives a pat on the back* now waiting for yilong to complete his part..

next assignment would be the radio journ talking point package... x) thank god something interesting happened over the weekend and we have a pretty interesting angle... =)

i think the palm tx is really doing its job well! my organiser and work companion.. x)

okay.. maybe WISP isn't that annoying afterall... the rwandan genocide and schindler's list is kinda interesting... =)

developed my first roll of film taken on my lomocam.. here they are! finished my second roll and starting on my third... =) can't wait for the new photos to be ready! hehe, ive learnt that i must use flash when i take pictures or else they will end up dark and grainy.. and ooh, don't think, just shoot! something amazing will come out of the most mundane object.. =)

hope to get a supersampler once i get the hang of shooting with my pop 9... x)

On a parting note... this very nice and meaningful quote from coach carter..
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our dark that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people don't feel insecure around you.We are all meant to shine as children do. Its not just in some of us; its in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsiously give other people to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
