Last year we went to NTU Alumni Club to chill... this year we went to....

SETTLERS CAFE!
hehe, it's a cafe with an unique concept of offering board games (so many that you can possibly be buried under them). A good place to go to chill out with friends, laugh at each other playing games such as the ever so familiar Twister, Boggle, Monopoly, Game of Life, Pictionary, yadayada.

This is how cosy it is on the inside... there were alot of people intially, people from secondary schools.. the usual kiddos and families hanging out on a wednesday afternoon for some family/friend/relaxation time. the host quickly welcomed us and ushered us to an empty table. she briefly introduced herself and told us how the cafe and the system here works. Quite cheap eh... play games till 6 for only $6!! where to find such a good deal?!

Ahh... the game menu... so thick! so many to choose from.. what a headache.

ah-hah! u think its a monopoly game board... but it's not! it's settlers cafe's menu :)
at first the host introduced us this card game called the "lost cities" or something, whereby you hafta make investments for the various expeditions. too chim for me. too much calculations, my brain cannot take it(numbers). we tried it twice, with the guidance of the host for the first round. it's quite fun lah, but then i dont like the calculation bit so we decided to play another game..

with so many games to choose over, die lah. let's stick to something we will both enjoy - MONOPOLY!!
boy, was i wrong. I kept on landing in jail, stepping on kurt's property, worse still, it's always those that he built houses in. I was so so broke to the extent whereby I had no money and I hafta mortage some properties and pray that I advance to "GO" smoothly without incurring super taxes. *sigh*

*pouts* very little money i know

Kurt, stop showing off.
BAHH. hehe, we ordered food as well. so yups, our bill came up to only $22! :) imagine a few hours of fun and food for only $22! and it comes with free flow drinks as well *lol* ju leen, if you bring kenny there, no fear! he can drink like a drink for all he wants!
