Took Friday off, actually half day off to paint my room. Bern came over in the late morning. We peeled off my glow-in-the-dark stars, moved out the furniture and had brunch. After that, it was paint-shopping! Wanted a slightly lighter shade, but it wasn't available, I'm glad I stuck to this colour!

The newly merged Commercial Operations team had farewell lunch together for Chiuyan. =)
This is like.. half of the team.

All of us ordered executive set lunches. So we had a soup, a drink, main course plus 'designer ice-cream'! =D

Waaay overdue

okokok, I've been really busy lately, with all that CNY and work stuff, etc. Gonna make a really quick update now k?

Bern sent me to Bishan MRT and spent time with me walking around before I met up with the girls. Saw Haha crabs, damn cute! =D They are actually hermit crabs with colourful, decorated shells. Very interesting.. haha

Made our way to Bishan Loft and our birthday girl's busy like a bee, entertaining her guests. So we entertained ourselves.

We helped ourselves to the food and after a while, we decided to head out. It was damn breezy outside! So we decided to snap some pictures and have some fun as well.







We also went to play foosball at one of the rooms! *LOL* We were shrieking and shouting away, so noisy can! I can't believe Vel and I lost, to think my practices during lunchtime at MTV didn't really help... Must be the foosball table, hahahah

=) After that, headed to Bishan MRT station with Vel where Bern was waiting for me (:
Bern went to get my Carmex lipbalm replaced because the previous jar can't be opened! I knew it was a trick of that 'gay' salesperson to get another glimpse of Bern.. LOL x)

this is funny.

It's laughable how people think that the whole world is against them, when it's actually that person against the whole world.

This is how teenage angst warps your perceptions.

Seriously, I don't understand how people can stand looking at the computer the whooooole day and whereas for me, the moment I get home, I don't want to face the computer AT ALL and I just wanna sit back, have a quiet dinner and just chill at home.

It's funny how people keep saying that they wanna lose weight, but does nothing about it. No jogging, no exercising, just plain talk. Please understand that losing weight only happens when you exercise, eat proper meals and cut down on junk food.

There's so many things I still hafta blog about, Chiuyan's farewell lunch with the newly-merged/formed Commercial Ops department at Swensens but I really have gotta do work now..
Now I know how tancy feels when she was handling VH1 India, Nick India and MTV India all at the same time. Garang man, you woman!
PS: I took 2 sets of the Nickelodeon angbao packets for you already! =D

2nd trip to Lao Beijing

This trip to Lao Beijing is a.... Chiuyan's farewell-cum-Mr Ong belated birthday lunch. Hahaha, and also Tracy's first Lao Beijing trip with us! The last time she had taken sick leave and missed out on good food we had. =P




We're at this table that has a small aquarium underneath. There's a fish inside too! But it takes over under this leafy thingy and sleeps most of the time.

New year came early! Let's lao yusheng! =D It was not bad, I actually ate all the shavings of vegetables because the sauce overpowered the natural taste of vegetables and it was crunchy. =P

Food was really good, majority of the dishes are meat! =P So I was really eating away happily...

Look! We even had a mask-changing performance going on! =P It was really interesting to see how that performer managed to change from black to red, to half face, to black and his real face at an interval of 1 second the most. Amaaaaaaazzzzzzzzing.



This performance takes place everyday at 1pm and 8pm. Or was it 7pm? Hmmm.
