:D Meet Junior! x) Isn't he just so adorable? He's a crazy bundle of energy, he whines more than he barks and he loves his belly scratched.

this year:
WOOHOO! shiok anot!? hahaha
maybe because we are performing at the main stage, unlike last year, maybe it's the unusually big crowd this year, but things seemed a bit rowdy. to the extent where by people fought and the police took action. *tsktsk* what a way to start the new year by being hand-cuffed and being at the nearby police station. hahaha
we were trying out stunts before our turn to go on stage and then those guys' [mostly foreign workers] attention turned to us instead of the performance on stage. i can understand people looking when we are trying the stunts, but after we are done?! they continued looking -.- and it felt like they are trying to undress you further and trying to imagine what's underneath that short cheerleading skirt. argh. irritating.
and the juniors really showed themselves well. :) am proud of them.. see, all you need to do is to motivate them, help them, talk to them instead of just walking away everytime without explaining what they've done wrong. tell them in their face, help them learn! no doubt i had my hesitations about their capabilities because they are so new and after the bad experience last year for the FOC and BA performances.. but they really showed us what they can do.. =)
and we were done, we were supposed to go immediately to welcome the guest of honour, health minister Khaw Boon Wan, while we were making our way there, there were people actually wanting to foam-spray us! and we are total strangers! *grrrs* so irritating lah! i hate those vendors selling foam sprays! make fun nights like this not so fun anymore.
and the number of foreign workers there is ooooverwhelming. they were all armed with foam sprays and we watched them engage fiercely in a foam-spray battle with the lion/dragon dance people.
after that, popped over to jiewei's place and magnum had a moonlight swim/catching in the pool. hhahaha, we were all having so much fun until this lady shouted:
ALL YOU PEOPLE DOWN THERE! IT'S PAST [insert time here]! GO HOME! OR GO DOWN TO SENTOSA TO CONTINUE YOUR PARTY!
then some neighbours looked outta the window. but.. it was kinda ridiculous, coming from someone living a house that's still lit. if you're sleeping and we are making a din and you say that, it makes more sense. nevermind those irritating people, because i think everyone had fun :)
